Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal will give two new north-east sports centres her seal of approval next week.
Princess Anne will take part in the formal opening ceremonies of the Deveron Community and Sports Centre in Banff, and the Macduff Community and Sports Centre, on Friday.
The VIP guest will meet staff and well-wishers at the Aberdeenshire Council venues, which were created at a combined cost of £12.7million.
The Banff building features a sports hall, running track, community rooms, swimming pool, café, all-weather pitch and facilities for tennis and squash.
It opened to the public last March and has already attracted more than 61,000 visits.
The Macduff Community and Sports Centre, also known as the Myrus Centre, opened to the public in November 2016.
It features a sports hall, all-weather pitches, community spaces and play areas and has seen nearly 40,000 people pass through its doors.
