Four appliances were sent to Straloch Avenue in Newmachar at 8.05pm last night. A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “We used two hose reel jets, one thermal imaging camera and four breathing apparatus.” Nobody was injured and a stop message was received at 10.04pm. There was also a fire at a residential property on Hanover Street in Aberdeen city centre. Four appliances were called to the scene at 1.05am. A fire service spokeswoman said that two adults were treated at the scene and a stop message came back at 1.55am. Firefighters used six breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and one positive pressure ventilation fan.
