Three men were rescued by a lifeboat crew after getting stranded on rocks off the Aberdeen coastline yesterday.
The incident happened at 6.15pm after the beach goers were cut off by the incoming tide on a rock groyne near the Sand Dollar Cafe.
None of the men were injured and all three were transferred to the lifeboat before being brought ashore to the beach where they were met by police.
The lifeboat returned to station around 6.45pm and was readied for further service.
A spokesman for Aberdeen Lifeboat Station said: “Members of the public should always be cautious when venturing onto rocks; it is so easy to be caught out by the incoming tide or a change in the weather.”
