Four people have been charged after Class A drugs with a street value of around £1,200 were recovered from an Aberdeen property.
CID officers carried out an intelligence-led drug search warrant at a property in the Park Street area of the city on Friday where heroin, crack cocaine and other drug paraphernalia were recovered.
Three men aged 18, 26 and 44, along with a 24-year-old woman, are expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.
Meanwhile, another 29-year-old man was also charged after a warrant was executed on Saturday at a property in the High Street area of Stonehaven by the local Community Policing Team, and a personal quantity of a Class B drug recovered.
PC Ashleigh Connon, who led the operation, said: “Thank you to the members of the public who provided information.”
She added: “As an intelligence-led organisation, local officers depend on members of the public to come forward and provide information to tackle drug misuse – it is crucial we know the ‘who, what, why, when, where and how’ in relation to people who are living or committing crime in our communities.
“Details like names, nicknames, addresses, descriptions and vehicle registration numbers can all be very helpful.
“No piece of information should ever be considered too small or irrelevant and we continue to encourage anyone with information about drug activity to contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you wish to remain anonymous.”
