A north-east hotel has been put up for sale ahead of the owner’s retirement.
The Fife Lodge Hotel in Banff has been independently run for the last six years but now owner Linda Thomson wants to retire.
The eight room guesthouse sits alongside the River Deveron and the A97 road into Banff.
It features landscaped ground, a dining room, garden room, lounge bar and a ballroom with the capacity for up to 300 guests.
The owner’s accommodation which is behind the hotel is part of the sale.
Stuart Drysdale associate director with Christie and Co, the firm handling the sale, said: “Fife Lodge Hotel presents a fantastic opportunity for an owner operator to build on an already successful business.
“The business would ideally suit a husband and wife team or couple and benefit from a hands on approach.
“A detached three bedroom owner’s accommodation sits to the rear of the hotel, and although this is not included within the sale, this could be made available under separate negotiation.”
Christie and Co is seeking £595,000 for the freehold of the hotel.
