The 24-seater Stagecoach vehicle was parked at a bus stop near Aberdeen Airport when firefighters found it “well alight.” Using two pumps and two sets of breathing apparatus, crews spent 30 minutes extinguishing the flames before leaving the scene at 11.48am. Police were also in attendance helping to divert traffic. A fire service spokeswoman confirmed that all of the bus’s passengers were accounted for and none had been injured.
