A section of the A90 has been closed following a car crash this evening.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were first alerted to the one-car collision, on the southbound carriageway between Ellon and Balmedie, just after 6.20pm.
A fire service spokesman confirmed that two appliances attended the scene and left at 7pm.
Lengthy tailbacks are now forming, and police are diverting traffic through Newburgh and onto the Foveran junction.
