Officers are appealing for information after a vehicle failed to stop following a crash with a youth on a bike.
The incident happened shortly after 8am yesterday morning, at Bressay Brae in Aberdeen.
The bicycle rider was not injured but has understandably been left shaken by the incident.
PC Ewan Gault said: “We are urging anyone who witnessed the collision or who has any information to get in touch with us on 101 using reference number CF0108140518.
“The car involved is described as being black in colour and may have been a saloon or estate type car. We would also urge anyone who saw the car in the area around the time to contact us.”
