Two people have been charged after heroin with a street value of around £1,800 was recovered from a vehicle on the A90 at Charleston at around 9am yesterday morning.
It is anticipated that the 25-year-old man and 23-year-old woman will appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.
Detective Inspector Rob Sim said: “We are determined to stop those intent on making money from the illegal sale of drugs which only serves to cause harm to the communities of the North East.
“Anyone with concerns about drugs in their community or who sees anything unusual or suspicious should contact police and any information will be taken seriously and acted upon.”
