Man appears in court after cannabis worth around £66,000 recovered in Aberdeen

A man has appeared in court after police recovered drugs worth £60,000 in Aberdeen.
Cannabis and cannabis resin were found after officers stopped a car in the Mastrick area of the city on Thursday and also searched a property in Leggart Terrace the following day.
Cho Chan, from Hong Kong, was charged with being concerned in the supply of drugs and appeared at the city’s sheriff court yesterday.
The 59-year-old made no plea and was released on bail.
He is now expected to appear again within the next eight days.
A 63-year-old woman, also from Hong Kong, has also been charged but has not yet appeared in court.
