Over £17,000 has been raised for good causes by event management students at Robert Gordon University.
Third and fourth year students have organised a range of cultural activities over the past month as part of the Aberdeen Student Festival and The Main Event.
The latter raised over £14,000 for charities such as The Archie Foundation, Marie Curie and Diabetes UK.
A weekend of events at the Aberdeen Student Festival brought in a further £3,000 for The Music Hall Transformation and The Leanne Fund.
Lecturer Dr Rachael Ironside, from RGU’s School of Creative and Cultural Business, said: “I am sure the funds will go a long way to helping these fantastic causes.
“Our students also gained valuable experience putting their skills to use in a professional context.”
