Police are appealing for information to help trace a car following a number of reports of theft in the Cults, Mannofield and Northfield areas of Aberdeen.
The incidents took place during the early hours of Saturday morning at Thorngrove Crescent, Kirk Crescent, Hillview Crescent and Howes Drive. A number of personal items were taken, including clothing and a bike.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have seen a dark hatchback type car with the registration plates SY15 NSE.
PC Calum Mackay said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything unusual or suspicious in these areas to contact us.
“In particular if you saw the car described please let us know. We would also like to hear from anyone who has private CCTV.”
PC Mackay added: “We have seen a recent spate of acquisitive crime in the north east and additional patrols are being carried out.
“I urge homeowners to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to us.
“It is also important to ensure homes and vehicles are locked at all times and valuables removed from vehicles.”
