A north-east musical talent is looking for public support as she aims to open the Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival on the main stage.
Former Ardallie Primary and Mearns Academy pupil Alannah Moar, 20, is studying music at Napier University in Edinburgh.
In 2016 she was the winner of the Soundwaves competition which saw her playing at the O2 ABC in Glasgow, but now she needs the public’s help to achieve her dream gig.
Alannah has reached the final four in the competition to play at the Belladrum festival which has now gone to a public vote.
“Belladrum is my favourite festival ever and it would be a dream come true to be the opening act there,” she said.
Competition for the opening slot comes from three Scottish bands.
Voting takes place on the Herald Scotland Facebook page and is open until May 31.
