Fame the Musical, based on the 1980 classic film, is coming to Aberdeen in September with an all-star cast.
The show tells the story of a group of students who are determined to make a name for themselves in the world of showbusiness.
Mica Paris is playing the students’ strict English teacher Miss Sherman. Her hit singles and international albums have resulted in her being known as the UK’s “soul queen.”
She will be joined by Hollyoaks’s Jorgie Porter and Any Dream Will Do runner-up Keith Jack.
Miss Paris said: “The movie Fame was a big favourite of mine because it really was the first glimpse of what the beginning process of becoming trained artist entailed – I’m so happy to be in the show.”
Fame the Musical comes to Aberdeen’s His Majesty’s Theatre from Tuesday September 11 until Saturday September 15.
Tickets are available at www.aberdeenperformingarts.com or in person at the box office or by calling 01224 641122.
