A busy north-east road has reopened after being closed for two hours following a crash involving two cars and a lorry.
The incident took place at 3.40pm on the A90 road between Aberdeen and Peterhead, north of the Toll of Burness and near the Hatton junction.
It involved a red Ford Focus, a red Vauxhall Astra and a lorry belonging to Kennedy Transport.
Police, paramedics and firefighters were called to the scene, but it is understood that the fire service was stood down shortly after arriving as nobody needed to be cut from their vehicle.
One car landed on its roof following the impact, and both carriageways were sealed off with police putting diversion signs in place.
A police spokeswoman confirmed that paramedics were checking over those involved but it later emerged that only one man sustained “minor” injuries.
