Police are appealing for information after several buildings and signs were vandalised in Portlethen and the surrounding area over the last week.
Units at the Portlethen Industrial Estate, signs at the Charleston Flyover and the overpass to Marywell/Findon coming from the Hillside area have been the subject of graffiti and tagging.
PC Wayne Smart of the Kincardine and Mearns Community Policing Team said: “We will be increasing patrols in the area and I would encourage anyone that has information about the tag or who has seen anything unusual or suspicious in the areas mentioned to contact us on 101.
“It may be that EVO is a nickname for someone or that it means something. Any information can also be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
