More than 2,200 people have been taking part in the event to collect donations for charity.
All of the walkers are taking on either a five mile, 14 mile or 26 mile trek for a charity of their choice, heading towards the Duthie Park finish line from either Potarch, Crathes or Bieldside.
A total of 273 charities will benefit from today’s events.
Around £250,000 has been gathered in donations, which has been topped up by an additional £100,000 by Sir Tom Hunter and The Hunter Foundation.
Sir Tom said: “Today was very special and I want to thank each and every Kiltwalker who took part and made this our biggest Kiltwalk in Aberdeen to date.
“There is nothing more inspiring than seeing thousands of walkers in a sea of tartan, encouraging each other to cross the finish line to raise a huge amount of money for the causes they care about.”
Aberdeen Kiltwalk expected to raise around £350,000 for good causes in the north-east
