Thousands of fans will descend on Pittodrie tonight to pay tribute to Gothenburg Great Neale Cooper.
The man who helped the Dons beat Real Madrid in the Cup Winners’ Cup final in 1983 died last week, aged 54.
A celebration of his life is being held tonight, where fans will hear from some of his closest teammates and friends while some of his greatest moments on the pitch are played on big screens.
There will also be a book of condolence.
Fans are also planning their own tribute for the night, with specially designed flags and a banner.
There will be a flag on every seat in the stadium for fans to use as part of the display, and to keep as a souvenir.
Complimentary tickets are available from the Pittodrie ticket office, and will be available on the night at the RDS Lower turnstiles. It is a 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
