Two pedestrians, a man and a woman, were hit by a Red Citroen C1 car at the Square in Ellon. The accident happened at 10.15am this morning and the road was temporarily closed as paramedics and police officers assessed the scene. An ambulance was called to the scene and emergency services remained at the Square for an hour. The pedestrians were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary but it is believed their injuries are not serious.
