Police are appealing for information following an alleged hit and run involving a pensioner near Banff.
The collision, where a 75-year-old was hit by a vehicle in a car park on Loch Street, Whitehills, at about 12.30pm on Saturday.
The pensioner sustained minor injuries.
Constable Graeme Smith said: “At this stage we don’t have any details of the make or model of the vehicle although we believe it may have had a tyre secured to the rear.
“We are currently carrying out enquiries to establish the exact circumstances of this incident and would urge the driver of this vehicle to contact us as soon as possible if you recognise yourself as being the person involved.”
