A 21-year-old man has been charged in relation to an alleged series of housebreaking and the theft of bikes and other personal items in the Aberdeen area.
The incidents took place between March and June in a number of areas including Cummings Park Circle, Moir Crescent and North Anderson Drive.
Sergeant Graeme Allan said: “We are committed to targeting those who choose to involve themselves in acquisitive crime.
“We know that having your home broken into and your property stolen is extremely distressing and we will continue to do all we can to reduce crime and bring those responsible to justice.
“There are simple steps you can take to help prevent yourself becoming a target of crime and these include ensuring you have all your doors and windows locked at all times even when you are at home.
“Please report anything suspicious you see in your neighbourhood with as much detail as you can to police on 101.”
The man is expected to appear in Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.
