The A90 Aberdeen to Stonehaven road will be closed briefly in the early hours of this Saturday morning to allow for Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route utility works.
The busy road will be shut in both directions at Charleston for around 15 minutes every hour between midnight and 4am on Saturday, June 23.
In addition, lane closures will be in place from 8pm on Thursday, June 21 until 6am on Friday, June 22 for preparation work.
A spokesman for Transport Scotland said: “Anyone planning to use the A90 at Charleston between midnight and 4am should build in the possibility of a short delay, so that they can reach their destination on time.
“We would like to encourage all road users to observe all road signage to enhance their safety, as well as the safety of others.
“We would also like to thank road users for their continued patience and support during the construction of this major infrastructure project. “
