Lee Fairbairn and Connar Hudson approached a man on George Street on March 3 this year. Fairbairn hit him with a metal baton while the two men repeatedly punched and kicked him. The victim was left with severe injuries as a result. Fairbairn went on to attack another woman on the same street whom he punched and threw to the ground. The pair confessed to the offences during an appearance at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday. Sheriff Graeme Buchanan deferred sentence on them in order to obtain reports. Fairbairn, 31, and Hudson, 26, both of HMP Grampian, will return to court next month.
