A car caught fire in Aberdeen’s city centre this morning. Emergency services were called after flames engulfed a Land Rover around 10am. Fire services sent one appliance to the fire on George Street, using a hose reel jet and breathing apparatus to tackle the flames. The road was closed as the team worked to secure the scene. The stop call came in at 10.21am this morning and the case has now been passed on to Police Scotland. More details as they come.
