Picture by KATH FLANNERY A north-east road has been closed following a crash between a motorbike and car. The incident happened at 11.26am on the A947 Ellon road junction, outside Oldmeldrum. The road is currently closed to allow a helimed air ambulance access to the scene. A police spokesman said: “A motorbike and a car collided on the A947 half mile out of Oldmeldrum. “Police and ambulance units are in attendance. “At the moment, the injuries do not look to be life threatening.” One man was injured in the collision and is being treated at the scene for spinal injuries. Two fire units from Ellon were also dispatched, but were not used.
