A 44-year-old man has been charged in relation to alleged drugs offences following the recovery of heroin, crack cocaine and cannabis resin with an estimated street value of £14,500.
A quantity of cash was also found.
The recovery was made in the Wingate Road area of Tillydrone at around 6.50pm yesterday evening during routine patrols in the area. The recoveries were made from both a vehicle and a property.
The man is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.
Detective Sergeant Mike Reynolds said: “We are committed to tackling the issue of drugs misuse in the north-east.
“Through the work of an officer who noticed something that didn’t look quite right, we have removed a quantity of drugs that was destined for local communities in Aberdeen.
“If you notice any unusual activity or something that isn’t quite right please call 101 with details as it may prove highly useful in disrupting the circulation of illegal drugs in our communities”.
