A section of the A90 Aberdeen to Dundee road will close this weekend.
The closure is necessary to allow work to be completed on the AWPR in the south of the city.
The northbound slip road from the A90 onto Wellington Road will close from Friday morning at about 10.30am until 6am on Monday.
Diversions will be signposted.
A Transport Scotland spokesman said: “These works are taking place during the school summer holiday period and we are expecting the level of traffic travelling northbound to be quieter than usual.
“However, we suggest that drivers plan their journey in advance and leave earlier to ensure they can reach their destination safely and on time.
“We would also like to remind all road users to observe all signage and drive with caution.”
