Italian restaurant Tony Macaroni is the latest business to open in Aberdeen’s Marischal Square development, joining All Bar One, Prezzo, Mackie’s and Costa.
The 155-seat restaurant – the chain’s 15th – officially opened this weekend, bringing with it over 30 full and part-time jobs.
Sep Marini, founder and managing director of Tony Macaroni, said: “We are delighted to extend the Tony Macaroni brand to Aberdeen and be located in the Marischal Square development.
“We are looking forward to welcoming diners and bringing great service and authentically Italian cuisine.”
Aberdeen City Council Co-Leader Councillor Jenny Laing added: “It’s great to hear the new Tony Macaroni in Marischal Square will be welcoming its first customers very soon and we wish them every success.
“We are delighted Tony Macaroni’s have chosen to open their first restaurant in the north-east in Marischal Square.
“It is not only a great endorsement for the development but it also brings additional jobs and investment right into of the heart of the city centre.”
