Drugs with a street value of around £1,000 have been seized from a property in Buckie.
Cocaine was recovered from a property in Ewing Crescent on Saturday during a drug search warrant.
A 28-year-old man has been charged in relation to alleged drugs offences and was expected to appear at Elgin Sheriff Court today.
Neil Campbell, Buckie Community Policing Inspector, said: “My team and I are committed to tackling illegal drugs in Buckie and disrupting those who think it is OK to bring harmful substances into our community.
“Buckie is generally an extremely safe area to live and work and we will continue to proactively target illegal drug supply at all levels.
“To do this we rely on the support of people who live in the area to let us know when and where they suspect illegal activity is taking place.
“All intelligence we receive, no matter how insignificant you think it may seem, helps us to build a bigger picture which enables us to carry out more and more intelligence-led disruptive operations.”
