Three teenagers have been charged after a series of vehicles were stolen in the north-east.
They have been charged in connection with a series of alleged acquisitive crimes in the Mastrick and Hazlehead areas of Aberdeen.
A BMW and a Range Rover have since been recovered while officers are appealing for help from the public to trace a silver Ford B-Max with the registration DA62 HHC.
The black Audi A4 stolen from Ashwood Grove in Bridge of Don yesterday has been recovered meanwhile and inquiries are ongoing.
Detective Sergeant Andy Machray said: “We are dedicated to targeting acquisitive crime which is completely unacceptable in our communities.
“We rely on the support of members of the public and continue to urge anyone who sees anything suspicious in their neighbourhood to contact police on 101.
“We are still appealing for the public to help us trace a silver Ford B-Max stolen from the Forester Terrace area of Ellon overnight between Saturday and Sunday.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact us on 101.
“We would also urge you to do what you can to prevent yourself from becoming a victim of crime by keeping your doors and windows locked even when you are at home.”
The 18-year-old and the 16-year-old are expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.
The second 18-year-old male appeared yesterday.
The black Audi A4 stolen from Ashwood Grove in Bridge of Don on Monday, 20 August, has been recovered. Enquiries remain ongoing.
