Efforts to trace missing Peterhead man Ramunas Spakauskas continue today.
The 36-year-old was reported missing from his home address on Thursday.
He was last seen at around 8.30am that day, in the Bayview Crescent area.
Today, officers will be carrying out searches around the area of his home address and urge anyone who may have seen him to come forward.
Inspector Paul McCruden said: “It is out of character for Ramunas to not be in touch with his family and naturally they are very concerned for his welfare.
“We are appealing for anyone who has seen Ramunas or may have information which could assist us to get in touch.
“We also want to reassure Ramunas that he is not in trouble in any way, we just want to make sure he is OK.
“Ramunas works in the Mintlaw area and lives in Peterhead and we would ask that if anyone has seen him in these areas to contact us. Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland on 101 and quote incident 1182 of 23 August.”
Ramunas is described as around 5ft1 0ins in height, of slim build, with short light brown hair. He is clean shaven.
When he was last seen he was wearing a black hooded top with green stripes on the sleeves, dark blue jeans and grey trainers.
