Rush hour commuters faced delays at a notorious bottleneck roundabout in Aberdeen after a collision between a car and a lorry.
The two vehicles crashed shortly before 5pm on the southbound carriageway of North Anderson Drive, near the Haudagain roundabout.
A police spokesman said that nobody involved suffered any injuries but added that tailbacks were caused as one of the stricken vehicles was blocking the road.
The spokesman added: “The motorists were able to move the car and lorry from the road themselves and exchanged insurance details.”
The road was cleared at about 5.30pm.
