Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman had her handbag stolen.
The 21-year-old was walking through the woods near the disused Old Mill Inn, at Maryculter, on the B9077 on South Deeside Road when she was targeted on August 22, at around 11.45am.
The thief was wearing black trousers and a black cap, and is described as being about 5ft 8in.
The bag taken is described as a medium-sized black leather handbag, which contained personal items.
Constable Morgan Reid said: “The wooded area is known as Crynoch Burn and there is a temporary traffic light system in place nearby where a number of vehicles are stopped at a time.
“We would urge anyone who was in the area or any motorists passing who may have seen anything that could assist us to get in touch.”
