A man caught running a “sophisticated” drugs operation from an Aberdeen flat has been jailed. Police found £21,500 of heroin, £40,000 of cocaine and more than £18,000 in cash during a raid on Portland Street last October. Yesterday Aberdeen Sheriff Court heard that Luke Marshall had stashed the drugs throughout the property, including behind pipes. Sheriff Jack Brown said: “You became involved in this in an effort to repay a drug debt. Clearly your life had taken a turn for the worse.” “This was, however, a sophisticated enterprise albeit, perhaps to some extent, not at the highest level. “You knew what was going on.” Marshall, 23, of Larch Road, was sentenced to two years behind bars.
