A father-and-daughter duo are preparing to open a new cafe in the north-east which will have plenty of exposure to put customers in the picture.
Andy and Rosie Martin will be opening Delight Cafe Gallery in Banff early next month.
As a keen landscape photographer, Mr Martin, 59, has been snapping pictures for more than a decade and started his business, Andy Martin Photography, seven years ago.
Having been assisted by Miss Martin, 31, with shoots in the past and after studying for a photography diploma, the pair decided to branch out and open a cafe to display their work.
And the gallery will be based at the bottom of Boyndie Street.

Mr Martin, who has lived in Banff since 2002, said: “I always think photography printed is better seen printed even though we live in a digital age and I’ve always wanted to display my photography, so we put it all under one roof.
“The name Delight came to us for three reasons: photography is all about light, it’s a light cafe as we’re going to serve cake and light foods and it’s light in terms of faith too.
“Having been members of the local church, it feels good to be doing something which can give back to the community and bring a light space to the town.”
The 16-seat cafe will be manned by the Martins who are taking on two other employees for the cafe.
Prior to the redevelopment, the shop was a Polish Delicatessen, but has been transformed to utilise the area for its intended purposes.
Mr Martin said: “It’s been revamped and refurbished, we’ve divided the space to include the cafe, studio and accessible toilets, and completely redecorated it and brought it up to modern speed.
“We’ve worked hard to make two of the walls well lit for the gallery, so it will be a peaceful space for people to enjoy their coffee and the art work.
“It’s also fully accessible for all. Although there are seven steps to get to the studio and cafe, our side entrance is at the cafe’s level so there’s decent access to everything.
“We decided to stay open to 5pm as there aren’t many cafes which are open past four o’clock.”
Once it opens in October, the venue will be open from 10am to 5pm Tuesday to Saturday every week.
