Police are appealing for information after a caravan was set on fire in Dyce.
The incident at Overton Park was reported to emergency services at around 2.10am on Saturday morning.
Despite the best efforts of the fire service, the caravan was completely destroyed.
DC Emma Low, who is leading the investigation, said: “Given how close the caravan was parked to the neighbouring property it’s extremely fortunate that no wider damage was caused nor was anyone hurt.
“It was a completely reckless act which put people in potential danger and it will not be tolerated.
“Did you see anything suspicious during the night in question or have information which could assist with our inquiries? Please contact Police on 101.”
