A car, motorbike and mountain bike were all set alight earlier tonight.
A fire unit was sent to Kirkhall Place in Aberdeen shortly before 8.30pm after receiving reports regarding a fire emitting from a vehicle.
Local residents reported that it “smelled like someone had set fireworks off” and like “rubber burning.”
A separate fire unit was dispatched to Girdleness Road, a few minutes walk away from Kirkhall Place, shortly after to attend to a mountain bike and motorbike on fire.
Fire services have left the scene but police remain.
A police spokesman said: “We attended an incident on Girdleness Road after receiving a call from the fire brigade.
