Police are investigating after two fires in Aberdeen last night.
This dramatic footage shows firefighters extinguishing a car blaze in Torry after it went on fire at 8.23pm last night in Torry’s Kirkhill Place.
A fire service spokeswoman said an appliance from Altens attended and its crew found a car well alight. The blaze was extinguished by crew using one set of breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet.
Less than 10 minutes later, an appliance from Aberdeen Central were called to a separate incident in nearby Girdleness Road.
The spokeswoman said: “A motorbike and a mountain bike were on fire and the flames were extinguished using one hose reel jet.”
A police spokeswoman said this morning that inquiries into the fire are still ongoing.
The video, posted online by Normund Varganovs, shows firefighters putting out the flames on the car in Kirkhill Place.
