Police are appealing for information following a series of suspicious and “deeply concerning” fires in the city.
A car, motorbike and mountain bike were all set on fire on Tuesday night.
The crimes happened on Kirkhill Place and Girdleness Road shortly before 8.30pm.
Torry community policing team inspector Chris Kerr said the number of officers on foot patrols had increased in the area to help reassure residents of their safety.
He said: “This behaviour is deeply concerning and poses so many risks to the public and those who are responsible.
“It is very disappointing that those responsible think that this type of behaviour is acceptable and I can assure the local community that we will be using all available means to trace those who have committed these crimes.
“We believe Tuesday’s incidents last night are linked but I don’t believe they are related to recent fires at the Gramps.

“We are following positive lines of enquiry however I would urge anyone with information about these fires, especially any details about who has been involved in these incidents to do the right thing and come forward with that information.”
Torry councillor Catriona Mackenzie described the series of incidents concerning wilful fire-raising situation as “incredibly concerning.”
She said: “It was really distressing to hear of Tuesday night’s incidents when I woke up.
“The people carrying out these acts are posing a clear risk to safety and putting lives at risk, both their own and anyone the fires may come into contact with.
“The actions of these few does not reflect Torry residents at all.
“This is a lawful close-knit community and the people here deserve to feel safe.”
