Police have released CCTV images of a man they are looking to help them with an investigation into an attempted robbery in Aberdeen.
The incident happened at the Tesco Express on Great Western Road at around 10.50pm on Friday, September 21.
Officers believe that the man shown in the images may have information that could assist them with their inquiries.
He is described as a white, about 5ft7ins with a slim build and in his late 30s to early 40s, with a local Aberdeen accent. The man is shown in the image wearing a distinctive two tone, black and grey, zip up hooded top with a green zip.
Detective Constable Gordon said: “Although the persons involved in this incident were not hurt or injured in any way, they were left feeling understandably shocked and frightened.
“I would urge anyone who recognises the person in the image or the male himself to make contact with the Police on 101 as soon as possible quoting ref. no. CF0232820918.
“You can also contact the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 if you would prefer to remain anonymous.”
