A special weekend of music will be held to raise cash for an Aberdeen rocker who was left paralysed in a mysterious incident.
Jon Davie, 29, was rushed to hospital after he was seriously injured on Charlotte Street last September.
Police carried out investigations but closed the case when they couldn’t establish exactly what happened to the singer and guitarist, known for his performances with popular city band GutterGodz.

His first memory after being found on the street was waking up in a specialist ward at Glasgow’s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where he spent months being treated for the severe damage caused to his neck, back and spinal cord.
Now Mr Davie has returned to Aberdeen, and is working hard to improve his condition, which left him with severe mobility issues.
To help with his recovery, musicians from all across the north-east have banded together to organise “Jon Fest 2018”, following a similar fundraising event last year.
The event will take place over two days, Friday, October 19 and Saturday, October 20 at Drummonds on Belmont Street, where Mr Davie previously played with his band.
On the Friday, fans will be able to enjoy tunes from the Audiokicks, Forest Fires and Bill Jack.
And the line up on Saturday will feature Dear Jon, The Smokin’ Bugler Band, Before Stories and Connor Clark.
Last year’s Jon Fest at the bar raised more than £3,000 towards his recovery.
Drummond’s entertainment manager Ross Calder said: “We’re delighted to once again do our bit to support Jon in his recovery efforts.
“After the success of last year our owner, Jim Sandison, decided that it would be a great idea to do another event.
“Once again the response has been great and we are really looking forward to the weekend, with the added bonus this time that Jon will be able to attend the gigs now he is back in Aberdeen.
“Jim Sandison is also undertaking Sober October to raise further money for Jon, and donations can be made at the bar.”
Tickets for Jon Fest 2018 cost £5, and are on sale now at the bar, or can be purchased on the door during the event.
