Two people have appeared in court after drugs worth more than £12,000 were recovered in Aberdeen.
Police searched a property in Davidson Drive where they found crack cocaine and heroin as well as more than £1,000 in cash.
Glodi Wabelua from London,and Stevie Simpson from Aberdeen appeared at the city’s sheriff court yesterday to face charges of possession of drugs and possession with intent to supply.
Wabelua, 25, and Simpson, 26, made no plea and were released on bail.
They are expected to return to court at a later date.
Following the appearance, Detective Inspector Finn McPhail urged people with concerns about drugs to get in touch with officers.
He said: “We will relentlessly pursue those who choose to engage themselves in the illegal supply of drugs and associated antisocial behaviour but we need the support of the community to do this.
“We are continuing to work with our partners and will proactively target those who are looking to bring drugs into our communities.”
