A man in his 60’s sustained serious facial and head injuries following an alleged assault in the Deveron Road area of Aberdeen on Saturday.
A man is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today in relation to the alleged serious assault.
The 29-year-old has also been charged in relation to an alleged theft from a car and attempted theft from cars in the Birkhall Parade area, on the same day.
A 28-year-old woman has also been charged in relation to the alleged vehicle crime and is also anticipated to appear at court today.
The man assaulted was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
