Paramedics and police officers were called to the crash at Altens at 9.30am, near a junction linking Hareness Road with Crawpeel Road. A police spokeswoman confirmed that the woman’s black Nissan Micra had ploughed through the wall as a result of the incident. She added: “An ambulance was required, and the vehicle was on its side, but the driver was not seriously injured.”
