A busy Aberdeen road has reopened after closing earlier today following a crash involving a lorry full of livestock.
Police were called to the scene of the incident between the Mcdonalds roundabout and Stoneywood, on the A947 Bucksburn to Dyce road.
The driver of the vehicle is not believed to have suffered any serious injuries, however a vet has been called to assess the animals that were on board the lorry.
The crash took place just after 12.30pm, and the road was closed for several hours this afternoon while the emergency services attended the scene.
Police thanked motorists and members of the public for their patience.
