A second man has appeared in court following robberies at two bookmakers in Aberdeen earlier this month.
Police were called to the Coral on Foresterhill Road on Monday October 15 and to the William Hill branch on Summerhill Court two days later after reports of disturbances.
Following this Anthony Jackson appeared in Aberdeen Sheriff court yesterday charged with assault by threats and robbery, assault and robbery, three charges of shoplifting and a breach of the peace.
The 38-year-old from Liverpool made no plea and was remanded in custody.
He is expected to return to court next week.
Anyone with information regarding either robbery is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
