Ellon-based brewery BrewDog has launched the world’s first craft beer airline.
The flight, to take place in February 2019, will conduct a round-trip between London and Columbus, in Ohio.
Passengers will take part in a beer tasting experience and visit a selection of Columbus’ breweries, bars and restaurants.
Guests will also visit the brewer’s craft beer hotel in Columbus, The DogHouse, which claims to be the world’s first hotel to offer guests a night’s stay inside a brewery.
James Watt, cofounder of BrewDog, said: “We took craft beer to the depths of the seas when we brewed an IPA at the bottom of the North Sea. Now, we’re turning to the skies aboard BrewDog Airlines.
“BrewDog Airlines will be an experience like no other, we’ve redesigned the flight experience for optimum beer enjoyment – from the food, to the entertainment, the cabin crew and most of all, the specially brewed high-altitude beer.”
