Police have arrested and charged a man in connection with the assault of a footballer during last weekend’s match between Aberdeen and Hearts. The incident happened during the Scottish Premiership fixture between the two at Tynecastle in Edinburgh on October 20. The 47-year-old is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date.
