A special evening of artwork and portrait painting will be held in Aberdeen next month to raise cash for the city’s art gallery.
The “Arty Party” and live portrait demonstration will be held at the Maritime Museum on November 2, and will feature local portrait specialist Kelly-Ann Cairns.
Guests are being asked to dress up as artists or famous characters from paintings for the evening.
They will enjoy canapes and wine as they watch Ms Cairns at work.
Cash from the event, hosted by the Friends of the Aberdeen Art Gallery and Museums group, will be used to support Aberdeen’s cultural offerings.
Tickets for the Arty Party, which will take place from 7pm to 9pm, are £20 per person and are available from Alistair Reid on 01224 314508.
