A northbound section of the A90 Aberdeen to Dundee road will be resurfaced in a scheme costing £240,000. The overnight works were due to begin last night on the stretch of the road between Luthermuir and Oatyhill junctions and expected to last six nights. The project will take place between 7.30pm and 6.30am each night with all works expected to be completed by Wednesday. No works will be conducted over the weekend. There will be a 10mph convoy in place while the resurfacing is carried out to protect road workers and motorists. The Landend Thornton junction will be closed to both northbound and southbound traffic whilst works are taking place in that area. Diversions will be signposted. There will be no restrictions in place over the weekend.
